Basketball Recap: Canby's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Canby won the last time they faced Hood River Valley and things went their way on Monday too. The Canby Cougars walked away with a 59-48 victory over the Hood River Valley Eagles.

Canby's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-6. As for Hood River Valley, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canby will venture away from home to take on Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Canby is facing Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts at the right time seeing as Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Hood River Valley, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Putnam at 7:15 p.m. on January 24th.
