Volleyball Recap: Shannon Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Shannon and Itawamba Agricultural, and Itawamba Agricultural kept the tradition alive. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Indians by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Red Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Shannon's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Itawamba Agricultural, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-7.

Shannon has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Saltillo on the 6th. As for Itawamba Agricultural, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Amory on the 9th.
