Football Recap: Creston Takes a Loss

Creston lost against Winterset back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers and the Huskies were almost perfectly matched up, but the Panthers suffered a 28-27 loss. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Creston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Winterset, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Creston is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Glenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Winterset, they will challenge Van Meter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
