Softball Recap: Soledad Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Soledad's offense. They came up short against the Alisal Trojans on Thursday, falling 12-0. The Aztecs have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Soledad's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Alisal, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Soledad is set to square off against their familiar foe Carmel at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alisal will take on rival King City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
