Softball Recap: Davenport Falls to South Lake in First Game of Season

Davenport had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Lake Eagles.

Madison Bergeron was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Davenport will take on Avon Park at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th. As for South Lake, they will face off against The Villages Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
