Devils Lake put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 68-40 win over the Thompson Tommies. The Firebirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Thompson still got an impressive performance from Drew Odenbach, who posted eight points and five rebounds. Braden Tyce was another key player, putting up seven points.

Devils Lake pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Thompson, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-3.
