Volleyball Recap: Put-in-Bay Comes Up Short

Put-in-Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Bowling Green Christian Academy Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

While Put-in-Bay ultimately came up short, they really made Bowling Green Christian Academy work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 19-25, 25-17, 27-25.

Put-in-Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bowling Green Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Put-in-Bay is set to take on their familiar foe Lawrence Upper at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bowling Green Christian Academy will challenge rival Monclova Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
