While Excelsior Classical Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They enjoyed a cozy 70-54 win over the Henderson Collegiate Pride on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Flying Lions as they're now sitting on three straight.

Excelsior Classical Academy was led to victory by Hunter Goss and Shawn Francis-Service. Goss dropped a double-double on 18 points and 17 rebounds, while Francis-Service went 9 of 15 on his way to 22 points. Goss has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 18 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Walczak, who posted nine points.

Excelsior Classical Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Excelsior Classical Academy pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game.
