After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Vianney, Webster Groves was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Hazelwood West Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 28-12. The Statesmen haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Webster Groves back to even at 1-1. As for Hazelwood West, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Webster Groves is set to square off against their familiar foe Parkway South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hazelwood West will challenge rival Mehlville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
