Severance's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Northridge Grizzlies 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Silver Knights in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won eight in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 25-9.

Malia Nethery paced Severance's offense, picking up ten kills. Nethery got some help from Sophia Atkinson and her 24 assists. Micaela Nethery controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The win got Severance back to even at 1-1. As for Northridge, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Severance will challenge Greeley Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northridge, they will square off against Windsor Charter Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
