Basketball Recap: Parkside Takes a Loss

Parkside suffered their closest loss since January 5, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the DC International Dragons by a score of 60-57. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Gavin Moore was his usual excellent self, putting up 21 points for DC International. Kai Hegwood was another key player, posting 12 points.

Parkside's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for DC International, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkside will take on KIPP College Prep at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. KIPP College Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season. As for DC International, they will challenge SEED DC at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
