Volleyball Recap: Midlothian Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Midlothian can now relate to. They fell just short of the Kellam Knights by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-18 in the first set.

Midlothian took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-12, 23-25, 25-22, 15-10.

Midlothian's defeat dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Kellam, they pushed their record up to 24-2 with the victory, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season.

Midlothian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kellam, they will take on Granby on Tuesday.
