Baseball Recap: D'Arbonne Woods Takes a Loss

D'Arbonne Woods was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-5 to the Sterlington Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to D'Arbonne Woods of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2019.

Bradley Thrash was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

D'Arbonne Woods' defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Sterlington, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

While D'Arbonne Woods had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
