Volleyball Recap: Clermont Northeastern Falls Despite Big Games from Mckenna Mcevoy and Gracey Elfers + How To Watch

Clermont Northeastern dropped to 10-5 on Tuesday, ending the team's four-match streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the East Clinton Astros by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Astros this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Gracey Elfers and McKenna McEvoy certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Elfers had 14 digs and six aces, while McEvoy had 15 digs.

As for East Clinton, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted against Clermont Northeastern since September 23, 2021.

Kenzi Terrell went supernova, getting 21 digs and one assist. Those 21 digs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylynn Spurlock, who had 12 digs.

Clermont Northeastern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Miami Valley Christian Academy on the 25th. As for East Clinton, they will face off against Felicity-Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
