Forbush's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past North Surry 4-0. Considering Forbush have won 12 matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Mount Airy beat East Surry 3-1 on Tuesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Mount Airy's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 201st, while East Surry are ranked 487th).

Forbush's victory bumped their record up to 16-5-1. As for Mount Airy, their win bumped their record up to 14-4-1.
