Platteview won the last time they faced Mount Michael Benedictine and things went their way on Friday too. The Platteview Trojans secured a 48-42 W over the Mount Michael Benedictine Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Platteview's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Steele, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Adams, who posted eight points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Platteview's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Mount Michael Benedictine, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Platteview will host Ashland-Greenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ashland-Greenwood will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Platteview surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mount Michael Benedictine, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Michael Benedictine is facing Waverly at the right time seeing as Waverly is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
