Basketball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland suffered their closest defeat since December 10, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Civic Memorial Eagles by a score of 54-51. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 62-42.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Civic Memorial, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland will host Effingham at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Civic Memorial, they will welcome Marquette Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
