Volleyball Recap: Falmouth Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Falmouth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Pembroke Titans, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-11, 25-18.

Layla Clunes paced Falmouth's offense, picking up five kills. Clunes were helped by Kinleigh Mohan and Bella Eulo, who contributed six assists each. Maia Ledwell controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Falmouth's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Pembroke, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Falmouth will venture away from home to challenge Bridgewater-Raynham at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Pembroke, they will square off against Plymouth South at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
