On Tuesday, the King's Academy Lions got the win against the Indian Rocks Christian Eagles by a conclusive 10-4. Considering the Lions have won five games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jackson Hageman made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

In other batting news, King's Academy got a massive performance out of Alec Cabrera, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Luke Shelhamer, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

King's Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

King's Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. With the defeat, Indian Rocks Christian broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-6.

King's Academy has already played their next match, a 5-3 victory against Jupiter Christian on the 13th. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 19-2 win against Admiral Farragut on the 13th.
