Volleyball Recap: Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees vs. Southern Indians
Clay-Battelle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Southern Indians. While the Cee-Bees didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Indians 25-20 in the first set.
While Clay-Battelle ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 13 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-19, 25-22, 20-25, 15-13.
Nevaeh St.Clair paced Clay-Battelle's offense, picking up 14 kills. St.Clair got some help from Maggie Lemley and her 22 assists. Farrah Ammons controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Looking ahead, Clay-Battelle will face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southern, they will welcome Lake Center Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
