Basketball Recap: Simsbury Comes Up Short

Simsbury lost against Lewis Mills back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Simsbury Trojans took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lewis Mills Spartans. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Simsbury's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Lewis Mills, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.

Simsbury will take on Northwest Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Northwest Catholic will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Simsbury surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lewis Mills, they will challenge Avon at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Lewis Mills is facing Avon at the right time seeing as Avon is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
