Volleyball Recap: Lytle Has No Trouble Against Stacey

Lytle lost to Stacey back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Pirates put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The matchup marked the Pirates' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lytle was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-15.

Lytle has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Stacey, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Lytle will take on Stockdale in a tournament on Thursday. As for Stacey, they will head out on the road to challenge KIPP University Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
