Basketball Recap: Upland Comes Up Short

Upland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Damien Spartans and fell 89-42. The Highlanders/Scots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-17.

Upland's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Damien, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-9.

Upland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Damien, they will head out to challenge Etiwanda at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Damien has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
