Recap: Johnson Atomsmashers vs. St. Vincent's Saints
The Johnson Atomsmashers lost to the St. Vincent's Saints back in February, but the Johnson Atomsmashers didn't allow the St. Vincent's Saints the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Johnson came out on top against St. Vincent's by a score of 47-36.
Leading Johnson to victory were Amayah Hamilton and Bryahnna Patton. Hamilton dropped a double-double on 17 points and 20 rebounds, while Patton scored 21 points along with five rebounds. The match was Hamilton's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Malaya Wright was another key contributor, scoring four points along with ten rebounds.
Johnson now has a winning record of 4-3. As for St. Vincent's, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Johnson will head out on the road to face off against Savannah at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Savannah will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. St. Vincent's will be home for the holidays to greet Liberty County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
