Bellflower never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the Lynwood Knights 11-0. The victory continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Crystal Menchaca made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jazelle Miller was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isabella Ordaz, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Bellflower's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Lynwood, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Bellflower will face off against Saint Joseph at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Buccaneers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jesters have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. As for Lynwood, they will host Dominguez at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Dons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.1 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
