Volleyball Recap: Ben Keefer and Jack Lapp Secure Win for Covenant Day

On Tuesday, everything went the Covenant Day Lions's way against the Sun Valley Spartans as the Covenant Day Lions made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-11, 25-17.

Covenant Day was led to victory by Jack Lapp and Ben Keefer. Lapp had five aces and three digs, while Keefer had four digs and one block. Keefer has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last ten times he's played.

Covenant Day's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Sun Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Covenant Day will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kingdom Leadership Academy at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Sun Valley, they will head out to face off against Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on March 19th.
