Basketball Recap: Towns County Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Towns County posted their closest victory since February 6th on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Lincoln County Red Devils 55-53. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 64-59 victory the Red Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Towns County has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Lincoln County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Towns County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-43 win against Hayesville on the 21st. As for Lincoln County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-40 victory against Washington-Wilkes on the 21st.
