The Belle Fourche Broncs and the More Cavaliers squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Belle Fourche Broncs had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a rough 54-23 loss at the hands of the Cavaliers. While losing is never fun, Belle Fourche can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while More is ranked 30th).

Belle Fourche lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jet Jensen, who scored six points along with two steals. Jensen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Carter McKenna was another key contributor, scoring five points.

Belle Fourche dropped their record down to 6-15 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for More, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Belle Fourche does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for More, they will head out on the road to face off against Rapid City Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. More is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
