Softball Recap: Greenville Bears vs. Delta Bobcats
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bernie, Greenville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Delta Bobcats a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Bears' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

M Hill was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two triples, five RBI, and three runs. Those triples were her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on T Wood, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. C Stevens was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.
