Football Game Recap: Perry County vs. Cornersville

On Friday, Cornersville put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered Perry County 63-0. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-0.

The win bumped Cornersville's record up to 6-0. Perry County are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.

Cornersville will look to defend their home turf next week against Fayetteville at 7:00 PM. Cornersville are cruising in on a six-game winning streak while Fayetteville are stumbling in off of six consecutive losses. Perry County will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central in two weeks at 7:00 PM.
