Basketball Recap: Biggs Starts off Right with Win over Willows + How To Watch

Biggs took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 67-59 victory over the Willows Honkers. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Honkers: they've now won four in a row.

Biggs' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryan Flowers led the charge by dropping a double-double with 21 points and 16 rebounds. Those 16 boards gave Flowers a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Kroupa, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds.

Biggs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in ten consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Willows is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Biggs will face off against Trinity at 11:45 a.m. on Friday. As for Willows, they will square off against Redding Christian on Tuesday.
