Basketball Game Preview: Lawton Wolverines vs. Classen SAS Comets

The Lawton Wolverines will face off against the Classen SAS Comets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Lawton had to suffer through a 62-28 loss at the hands of Midwest City. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while the Bombers are ranked 158th).

Meanwhile, Classen SAS was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 43-39 to Duncan.

Lawton dropped their record down to 3-16 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Classen SAS, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season.
