Softball Recap: Warren Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Warren won the last time they faced Dominguez and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears put the hurt on the Dons with a sharp 16-0 win. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Sophia Munguia was incredible, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with six runs. Those six runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bella Gonzalez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and two RBI.

Warren pushed their record up to 14-12 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Dominguez, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Warren didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-0 victory against Norwalk on the 1st. Dominguez has also already played their next contest (against Lynwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
