Football Recap: Richlands Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Richlands can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Havelock Rams and fell 47-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

CJ DiBenedetto threw for 43 yards on five of 15 attempts.

Havelock's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Howard led the charge by rushing for 101 yards and two TDs on only 11 carries. Howard has become a key player for the Rams: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise. Lloyd Jones was in the mix as well, providing Havelock with two scores.

Richlands' loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Havelock, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5.

As of now, neither Richlands nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
