Football Recap: Pottsboro Starts Season with Victory Against Bells

Pottsboro gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They claimed a resounding 41-14 victory over the Bells Panthers. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 20-0.

Cayden Humphrey threw for 278 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 90.9% of his passes. Trace Olsen was his top target, picking up 105 receiving yards.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pottsboro is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Sanger at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bells, they will challenge Whitesboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
