Softball Recap: Wendell Trojans vs. Buhl Indians
Wendell was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the Buhl Indians by a score of 7-3. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 16-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Breanna Comstock made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Jace Olmos was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Brianna Egbert was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Wendell hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Buhl struck out eight times.
