Soccer Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pisgah Bears.

Franklin's goal came courtesy of Adrian Cruz, who's now up to two this season.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-2. As for Pisgah, their win bumped their record up to 8-6-3.

Franklin has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Tuscola on the 15th. As for Pisgah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against West Henderson on the 15th.
