There's no place like home for The Cumberland Pirates, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 40-0 win over Argenta-Oreana at home. The result was nothing new for Cumberland, who have now won four matches by 27 points or more so far this season.

Cumberland had a senior duo take command as Blake Mcmechan gained 130 total yards and three touchdowns and Braydon Olmstead threw for 138 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes.

Cumberland's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Isaac Venatta and his two sacks.

Cumberland has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Argenta-Oreana, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Cumberland will head out on the road to face off against Casey-Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Argenta-Oreana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
