Softball Recap: Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against the St. Anthony Bulldogs, falling 16-1. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for St. Anthony, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City will take on Christ Our Rock Lutheran at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Anthony, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Charleston at 4:30 p.m.
