Fern Creek hasn't had much luck against Male recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tigers will take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Fern Creek's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Jeffersontown as they made off with a 13-0 victory. The Tigers have beaten the Chargers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Chargers has come to flipping the script.
Charlotte Brown was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
