Softball Preview: Lavaca Golden Arrows vs. Lincoln Wolves

The Lavaca Golden Arrows will stay at home for another game and welcome the Lincoln Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

After only two runs in their last contest, Lavaca made sure to put some runs up on the board against Westside on Thursday. Lavaca blew past Westside 15-1.

Macie Irby made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Irby was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
