Christian Heritage piles up the points against St. Mary's

Recap: Christian Heritage Sentinels vs. St. Mary's

The Christian Heritage Sentinels won the last time they faced St. Mary, and things went their way on Friday too. Christian Heritage blew past St. Mary's 62-28 on the road. That looming 62-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Christian Heritage yet this season.

Several St. Mary's players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was John Brogan, who scored eight points along with two steals. Brogan hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Hodge, who scored nine points.

Christian Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for St. Mary's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Christian Heritage will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Athens Christian Preparatory Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for St. Mary's, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Boniface Catholic Classical at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
