Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Atkinson County Rebels, falling 54-18.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Atkinson County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Darrian Roberts, who rushed for 178 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: Roberts now rushed for 110 or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Ladarien Roberts was another key back, rushing for 112 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.
