Volleyball Recap: Poudre Community Academy Comes Up Short

Poudre Community Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-20, 25-9.

Poudre Community Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Liberty Tree Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at five matches and leaves them with a 5-15 record.

Poudre Community Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Aurora West College Prep Academy on the 22nd. As for Liberty Tree Academy, they will square off against Vanguard Classical East at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
