Softball Recap: King's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

If King was feeling good fresh off their 15-4 takedown of Dilley on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The King Brahmas fell just short of the Caney Creek Panthers by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The Brahmas' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

King saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xzianna Elizondo, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave Elizondo a new career-high in hits (two).
