Soccer Game Preview: Davis Sr. vs. Granite Bay

The Davis Sr. Blue Devils will head out to face off against the Granite Bay Grizzlies at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few goals on average (Davis Sr. 0, Granite Bay 0.2) so any goals scored will be well earned.

Davis Sr. barely beat Folsom the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blue Devils never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Saturday. Considering Davis Sr. have won three matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Folsom with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kriztian Anderson (2), Subhan Rahimi, and Elias Mas.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Granite Bay). Everything went their way against Oak Ridge on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Granite Bay and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Davis Sr., their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Davis Sr. skirted past Granite Bay 1-0 when the teams last played back in January. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Grizzlies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
