Preview: Northside Panthers vs. Chavez Lobos
The Northside Panthers have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Chavez Lobos at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around on Friday.
Last Monday, Northside was beaten by Waltrip 71-29. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northside in their matchups with Waltrip: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Northside got a solid performance out of keith Wilson, who scored 23 points. Wilson scored a full 79.3% of Northside's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Chavez's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Westside, falling 67-26.
The losses dropped Northside to 2-4 and Waltrip to 3-3.
