Basketball Recap: Albany Takes a Loss

Albany has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a hard 68-51 fall against the Parkview Vikings on Friday. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Albany suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 6-2. As for Parkview, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Albany will head out to face off against Cassville at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Parkview, they will take on Waterloo at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Parkview is facing Waterloo at the right time seeing as Waterloo is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
