Volleyball Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

Carlisle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Lower Dauphin Falcons. If the Thundering Herd were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Carlisle was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lower Dauphin's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 25-19.

Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lower Dauphin, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Carlisle will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Hershey at 6:30 p.m. As for Lower Dauphin, they are taking a road trip to take on Central Dauphin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
