Basketball Game Preview: Marmaduke Greyhounds vs. East Poinsett County Warriors

Marmaduke hasn't had much luck against East Poinsett County recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Marmaduke Greyhounds will welcome the East Poinsett County Warriors at 7:00 p.m.

Marmaduke is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They lost to Bay on the road by a 70-54 margin.

Meanwhile, East Poinsett County entered their tilt with Piggott on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Mohawks 71-42. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 25 points or more this season.

East Poinsett County has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.1 points per game. As for Marmaduke, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Marmaduke and East Poinsett County were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup on January 7th, but Marmaduke came up empty-handed after a 46-45 defeat. Can Marmaduke avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
